**Your New Role**
The Project Manager has overall accountability for managing the assigned AFEC progject located in Bagotville, Quebec. The Project Manager will be responsible to manage the project from Estimate to Financial Close including but not limited to safety, schedule, cost management, change management, quality control, sub-contractor management, project documentation and all submittals.
The Project Manager is accountable for decision making on the assigned project relative to profit, schedule, and is expected to operate with a high degree of independence. Success in this position will include but not be limited to, the use of project management techniques such as pre-project planning, planning/estimating/scheduling, negotiations, dispute resolution and construction management.
**Specific Duties & Responsibilities**
While the Project Manager is responsible for a multitude of duties, the main functions include:
- Ensures compliance with all Sullivan policies and procedures.
- Managing the complete life cycle of the project including managing of the design team, scheduling and budget.
- Managing and maintaining the project schedule to assure deadlines are met on time.
- Managing all change requests and overseeing the execution of change orders.
- Completing all internal and external monthly reports to stakeholders and various team members.
- Conduct and manage bi-weekly site meetings as well as perform a detailed site review of the progress with the Superintendent.
- In conjunction with the Health, Safety, and Environmental Officer, communicate and enforce Sullivan’s safety standards as well as DCC's safety standards (where applicable).
- Provide support as required to on-site staff with dispute resolution and other identified issues.
- Monitor supplier and sub-trade performance throughout the project, complete supplier and sub-trade evaluations as required by the quality program.
- In support to the Project Coordinator, request and coordinate project close-out documentation including warranties, operation and maintenance manuals, etc.
- Works with the Superintendent(s) at the start of each project and throughout the project’s life cycle to review project scope, finances, methodology, construction drawings and specifications.
- Assists the Quality Department in the development of the project specific quality management plan and ensures its implementation by all the project’s team members.
**Health, Safety, and Environmental**
- Adheres to all health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures and regulatory compliance.
**Quality**
- Adheres to all processes and procedures in the Sullivan Integrated Management System (S-IMS).
- Ensures the quality of produced efforts reflects the Sullivan quality standards core values.
**What you will need to succeed**
- Possession of or commitment to obtaining Gold Seal Certificate or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation (construction).
- Post-Secondary education in Architecture, C.E.T., or related field of study.
- Professional designation (Architect, P. Eng.) is an asset.
- 10 + years of ICI construction project management experience working on projects more than $50M.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
- Bilingual (French and English both in verbal and written is an asset).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret level Government security clearance.
- Must hold a valid driver's license in good standing.

- Strong oral and written communication skills, including listening skills.
- Highly motivated and results oriented.
**Employment Type**
- Permanent full-time.
**Travel Requirements**
- Travel to and from job site as required.

- This position is located in Ottawa/Arnprior, with travel to Bagotville, Quebec.
