We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with Northern Health Authority standards.
- Collaborate with the Surgical Services Team Lead and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote safe and competent patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- One (1) year experience in surgical nursing within the past five (5) years, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to promote safe, competent patient care.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the healthcare team.
