Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Fort St. John Hospital/Health Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department
  • Provide nursing care, assistance, and relief to all nursing areas, including ICU, Maternity, Med/Surg, and Ambulatory Care
  • Collaborate with the Unit Manager Emergency/Ambulatory Care to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • Three (3) years' full-time recent acute care experience involving intensive care, obstetrics, and emergency or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to deal with others effectively
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
