Commercial Operations Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Commercial Operations Director to join our team at Home Trust Company. As a key member of our Commercial Lending team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of commercial lending strategies and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Commercial Lending team, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
- Commercial Lending Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of commercial lending products, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Project Management: Lead and manage complex projects, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring timely delivery of results.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of commercial lending professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
- Risk Management: Monitor and manage risks associated with commercial lending activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality of commercial lending operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, risk management, and business development, to ensure seamless execution of commercial lending initiatives.
- Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Economics, Finance, or equivalent.
- Experience: 10+ years of mortgage lending/underwriting experience with increasing responsibility, including in-depth knowledge of commercial lending products, policies, and procedures.
- Skills: Strong project management, leadership, and analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks and remove roadblocks.
- Personal Qualities: Solution-focused, with excellent underwriting and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
