Job Title: Commercial Operations Director

Home Trust Company is a leading alternative lender in Canada, with a strong track record of success. We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Operations Director to lead our commercial lending initiatives and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act decisively to move commercial strategies and initiatives forward in a timely manner
  • Lead business partners to improve underwriting and administrative systems
  • Monitor risks and identify escalating issues related to implementation and performance of projects
  • Develop tactical strategies to support the overall commercial business strategy
  • Break down strategic problems and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations
Requirements:
  • 10+ years mortgage lending/underwriting experience with increasing responsibility
  • In-depth understanding of commercial lending products, policies/guidelines, and procedures
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to identify risks and remove roadblocks
  • Ability to manage high volume of demands and often competing priorities
  • Strong organizational, time-management and ability to manage multiple teams
