About the Role

Richter is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a Tax Administrative Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the department's administrative activities, ensuring the smooth operation of our tax practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the billing process and prepare invoices;
  • Manage and prepare engagement letters;
  • Review and finalize various documents;
  • Open and maintain client files;
  • Generate reports in Deltek;
  • Manage expense reimbursements;
  • Involvement in the management of internal training;
  • Coordinate communications;
  • Any other related tasks.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in administration or a related field;
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, professional services environment;
  • Fluency in French is a must, English is considered an asset;
  • Experience in a professional service firm is an asset;
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Experience with Deltek is an asset;
  • Strong typing and organizational skills;
  • Detail-oriented and critical thinking are essential;
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with frequent interruptions;
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment with a positive and collaborative attitude;
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and proactivity;
  • Accountable for the quality and timely completion of work assigned;
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required;
  • Document management skills are an asset;
  • SharePoint knowledge is an asset.
