Overview
The Trainee in Rental Management program is structured to provide comprehensive training over a period of 18-24 months. This initiative equips participants with essential skills in various domains including Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales/Marketing. Participants will engage in both operational and administrative responsibilities to support management at both local and regional levels. This dynamic program encompasses all facets of the business unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales processes for incoming inquiries and proactive outreach
  • Ensure the marketing database is up-to-date and accurate
  • Generate leads for rental, leasing, and pre-owned vehicle sales
  • Oversee all processes related to rental assets, including vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
  • Achieve Ryder's market share objectives by effectively implementing sales and marketing strategies
  • Adhere to compliance standards set by the company and relevant regulatory bodies
  • Address and resolve customer concerns to foster ongoing relationships and expand the customer base

Additional Duties

  • As needed, the Trainee may assume the role of On-Call Representative based on scheduling determined by management
  • Perform other assigned tasks as required

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is required
  • Preferred experience includes at least one year in customer service with a focus on issue resolution
  • Intermediate computer skills are mandatory

No travel is required.
