As a Senior DevSecOps Analyst - Incident and Release Management, you will play a crucial role within the DSO Team, tasked with enhancing our DevSecOps technologies and ensuring smooth software releases alongside effective incident management. Collaborating closely with Development, Operations, IT, Business, and Security teams, you will implement best practices for release and change management throughout the software development and operational processes. Your primary focus will be on key technologies, including Oracle Cloud Retail Suite, Google Cloud Platform, Apigee, Java SpringBoot, and Big Commerce. In this capacity, you will spearhead the development of CI/CD/CT pipelines, oversee release processes, and swiftly address incidents to uphold the highest standards of system integrity and availability. Furthermore, you will enhance our monitoring and alerting systems, utilizing tools such as Dynatrace and PagerDuty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Release Management: Supervise the release process for applications across various platforms and technologies, including but not limited to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigCommerce eCommerce Platform, and Oracle Cloud Retail Suite, ensuring secure and efficient change control and release management practices.
  • Incident Management: Direct the response to incidents, ensuring rapid resolution, thorough follow-through, risk mitigation, and the implementation of lessons learned to avert future occurrences.
  • DSO Integration: Embed DevSecOps tools and methodologies at every stage of the software development lifecycle, from initial design through integration, testing, deployment, and software delivery.
  • Automation: Design and execute automation strategies for DevSecOps processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, employing scripting languages and automation tools.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure adherence to relevant security standards and frameworks. Advocate for security best practices and foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.
  • Collaboration and Training: Collaborate closely with IT and business teams to cultivate a cooperative environment. Provide training and mentorship on DevSecOps best practices and incident response protocols.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess DevSecOps tools, technologies, and processes for opportunities for enhancement. Stay informed about the latest trends, threats, and technologies in DevSecOps.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in a DevSecOps or similar role, emphasizing release and incident management.
  • Familiarity with the integration and configuration of SCA, SAST, DAST tools, and secrets management systems within CI and CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring and alerting tools, such as Dynatrace and PagerDuty.
  • 5 years of development experience in Object-Oriented programming languages, preferably Java SpringBoot or similar, along with associated build and test tools.
  • Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Strong experience with Oracle Retail Suite and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Working knowledge of Agile, SAFe, and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Familiarity with GitHub/GitHub Actions, GCP CloudRun/CloudBuild/GKE deployment, Terraform, and other Jira and Agile project management tools.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools, with a preference for Terraform.
  • Understanding of security principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, ITIL), and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, capable of conveying strategic information, security topics, policies, and standards to both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels.
