We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Parts Counter Clerk to join our team at Cummings Small Engine Service. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Answer customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product recommendations.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials. Maintain accurate inventory records and process requisition orders.
- Transaction Processing: Handle cash transactions, process sales calls, and prepare work orders.
- Parts Specialization: Develop expertise in small engines and generators, and provide advice on use and appropriateness of goods or parts.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Our warehouse and office environment can be dusty, noisy, and physically demanding. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs), and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
