Your Responsibilities
In the role of a Delivery Consultant, you will collaborate closely with IBM clients and partners to design, implement, and enhance IBM Technology solutions that align with their objectives. Your technical acumen will be essential in ensuring top-tier delivery, while your consultative abilities—such as problem-solving, effective communication, and a service-oriented mindset—will be vital in this role. As part of a client-focused, pragmatic, and technically adept team, you will work with clients to innovate and optimize solutions that address real business challenges.
Key Activities Include:
- Addressing Client Challenges: Identifying key client issues and crafting solutions that drive genuine business value through all phases of design, development, integration, implementation, and support.
- Agile Planning and Execution: Developing and executing agile plans, overseeing asset installation, testing, migration to production, and ongoing operations.
- Conducting Technical Workshops: Leading and participating in workshops focused on technical solutions.
- Building Strong Relationships: Establishing effective relationships at all organizational levels, from engineers to executives, and navigating discussions to achieve constructive outcomes.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Demonstrating self-motivation, curiosity, and initiative in navigating data and collaborating with people to find solutions.
- Effective Collaboration: Utilizing strong collaboration and communication skills while working with clients, partners, and the IBM team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with IBM Maximo solutions.
- At least 5 years of consulting experience in a client-facing role.
- Experience leading business process workshops and presenting solutions.
- Proven track record in full life cycle solution implementations, including requirements gathering, configuration, and testing.
- Experience in post-implementation support, including security administration and configuration issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in asset management, including asset life-cycle, work management, procurement, contracts, and storerooms.
- Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift and containerization.
- Experience in the energy and utilities sector.
