About the Role

As a Delivery Consultant, Technology Expert at IBM Computing, you will play a crucial role in delivering world-class services to our clients. You will be responsible for bringing together the necessary technology and services to help customers solve their most challenging problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand clients' main challenges and develop solutions that help them reach true business value.
  • Create and execute agile plans, including installing and provisioning assets, testing, migrating to production, and day-two operations.
  • Demonstrate a natural bias towards self-motivation, curiosity, and initiative, navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering.
  • Hands-on exposure to real-world application of computer science, information systems, or engineering concepts.
  • Technical expertise in Mainframe System Software on z/OS.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, including open-source products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with installation and configuration of IBM Z products.
  • Developer experience with z/OS (IDz), Enterprise Edition (IDzEE), Application Delivery Foundation for z/OS (ADFz), Application Discovery and Delivery Intelligence (ADDI), IBM Z Development and Test (ZD&T), and IBM Virtual Dev and Test for z/OS (ZVDT).
  • Familiarity with the delivery of training.
