Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at HFX FOODHUB INC.
Job Summary:The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including planning and organizing daily operations, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Assist the Restaurant Manager in planning and organizing daily operations, including scheduling staff, managing inventory, and coordinating with suppliers.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with staff to ensure they are meeting expectations and provide feedback for improvement.
- Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment and adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Negotiate Arrangements with Suppliers: Assist the Restaurant Manager in negotiating arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
- Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience for our guests.
- Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Veterans: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Support for Mature Workers: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
