We are seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team at Brenta Construction Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing and constructing concrete forms for various projects.
Key Responsibilities- Formwork Construction: Prepare and construct concrete forms to ensure accurate and efficient construction of concrete structures.
- Material Handling: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Site Preparation: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Finishing Touches: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Quality Control: Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Site Safety: Move tools, equipment, and other materials safely and efficiently.
As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
