Position Overview:

The Concierge Security Engineer plays a pivotal role in nurturing the technical relationship with our designated clients, utilizing their expertise to cultivate and sustain a robust partnership focused on security service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with clients
  • Conduct analysis of log and system data
  • Engage with and manage both internal and external stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate and educate non-technical personnel
  • Assist clients in troubleshooting issues and addressing specific requests
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients
  • Act as an advocate for clients within the Arctic Wolf team
  • Provide mentorship to junior analysts in both technical and interpersonal skills

This role encompasses elements of an IT Security Analyst, Security Architect, Incident Response Consultant, Security Sales Engineer, and Technical Support. The Concierge Security Engineer is responsible for implementing, overseeing, and supporting the network security framework for various enterprises, leveraging Arctic Wolf's cloud infrastructure and extensive expertise across multiple domains. Collaboration with an assigned Concierge Security Analyst and Customer Success Managers is essential, as CSEs build strong relationships with clients and take ownership of their security posture.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in Information Security, Network Security, or Cybersecurity
  • Additional 3 years as a Network Administrator, System Administrator, Cloud Administrator, or similar role is highly desirable
  • Comprehensive understanding of Enterprise IT Security, including Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Antivirus, Content Filtering, and Proxies
  • Familiarity with Enterprise IT Operations, including Networking, Active Directory, LDAP, Windows Server, and Cloud Infrastructures
  • Ability to analyze log and system data from various IT systems
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional relationship-building abilities in a professional setting
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • A commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement
  • While there are no specific degree or certification requirements, degrees in engineering or technology are advantageous. Security or IT certifications such as CISSP are also beneficial.
