Propane Operations Lead

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the propane delivery team and service technicians, ensuring efficient distribution of bulk propane and installation of propane tanks while maintaining high standards of customer service. Evaluate and address customer propane heating requirements, providing tailored fulfillment solutions and coordinating service work and deliveries. Ensure compliance with safety regulations through regular inspections and maintenance of propane tanks, equipment, and vehicles. Facilitate training, certification, performance evaluations, and recruitment of drivers and technicians to uphold a skilled and compliant workforce. Perform daily administrative duties using software platforms such as Excel and SharePoint to maintain accurate records of accounts, sales, training, schedules, and maintenance activities.Team Collaboration:
Your Team: You will oversee a team of 3-4 propane drivers, 3 service technicians, and a Propane Clerk, reporting directly to the Manager of Propane Operations.
Customer Engagement: You will focus on delivering exceptional service to rural, commercial, and residential propane clients.

Your efforts contribute to fueling communities in Western Canada by providing innovative energy solutions and exceptional service to Co-op member-owners and customers.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
You are pursuing a career in operations and possess:
3-6 years of experience in propane or a related field. If you lack propane knowledge but have transferable skills and a willingness to learn, we are open to training. Supervisory experience. A high school diploma or post-secondary education (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered). A Class 3A license or a commitment to obtain one. A mechanical aptitude, strong customer service orientation, organizational skills, and a diligent work ethic.Benefits Offered:
