About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Customer Service Team Lead at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and leading a team of sales associates to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of sales associates to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
- Provide legendary service to customers through various communication channels
- Assist with effectively managing the development and direction of team members
- Assist in overseeing sales, margins, expenses, inventory, and sales for the department
- Provide training to sales associates for all store duties and for opening and closing procedures
- Be familiar with and adhere to company policies and government regulations
- Complete all necessary daily reports as required
- Support and follow the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures, and train sales associates accordingly
- Assist with ensuring the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard
- Perform minor repairs to assets as required
About You:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced customer service professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and leading a team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals. If you have a strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, and the ability to successfully motivate and work with team members, we encourage you to apply.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- 3+ years of retail sales experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS)
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to successfully motivate and work with team members
- Experience with C-Store/Gas Bar operations and general merchandise items
- Attentive to detail and strong cash management skills
- Must be willing to obtain propane dispenser and WHMIS certifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective planner, and superb time management skills
- Point of Sale experience and ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
- Valid Class 5 license and reliable vehicle for daily trips
- Ability to fulfill physical job requirements
- Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
