Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Operations Manager to join our team at 2618532 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our automotive service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities
    • Direct and manage the work of our automotive service technicians and support staff
    • Coordinate and schedule service appointments and repairs
  • Recruit and Manage Staff
    • Recruit, hire, and train new team members
    • Develop and implement staff training programs
  • Estimate and Manage Costs
    • Estimate costs and materials for service repairs
    • Manage and control departmental expenses
  • Operate Computer Systems
    • Operate computer-aided design (CADD) and other software systems
  • Ensure Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Recommend Personnel Actions
    • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions and disciplinary actions
  • Requisition Materials
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Establish Work Schedules
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
