Automotive Service Mechanics Team Leader

The Automotive Service Mechanics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the automotive service department. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Equivalent experience may be considered
- Supervise and direct the activities of automotive service workers
- Coordinate and schedule service operations
- Recruit, hire, and manage staff, including conducting performance evaluations
- Estimate costs and required materials for automotive repairs
- Utilize CADD and other software systems for service management
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Recommend personnel actions based on performance
- Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies
- Develop methods to meet work schedules and collaborate with other departments
Oversee a team of 1 to 2 automotive service mechanics.
Work Environment- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail is crucial
- Physical demands may be required
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong client focus
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility and sound judgment

Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in automotive service.
