Key Responsibilities:
- Validate policy and benefit coverage for claimants and external parties.
- Authenticate claimants and external parties to ensure adherence to privacy guidelines.
- Coordinate with Group Administration to enroll members in their benefits.
- Manage and upload incoming correspondences, forms, and documentation for claims adjudication or maintenance.
- Validate member information, census, salary, and eligibility information.
- Prepare confidential correspondence for employers, members, physicians, and other stakeholders.
- Update claims throughout their lifecycle in claims adjudication systems.
Requirements:
- Related post-secondary education.
- Excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Flexibility, innovation, and independence.
