Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process to support clients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM).
  • Proficiency in both official languages (English/French).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification and Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of the position.
