Job Title: Cloudera Data Platform Specialist

Vantix Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cloudera Data Platform Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and security of our CDP environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patch installations, and system configurations, to ensure the stability and security of the CDP environment.
  2. Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to support users in using the CDP platform.
  3. Work with Big Data and Business Intelligence technologies to build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes.
  4. Administer and audit CDP User access and data management from various endpoints/levels.
  5. Upgrade and patch Cloudera Data Lake, Data Hub, Data Warehouse, Virtual Warehouse, and Data Visualization.
  6. Troubleshoot and fix issues encountered in SSSD, Free IPA, Azure IDP, HDFS, Yarn, Ranger, Hive, Impala, Sqoop, Hue, Cloudera Data Warehouse, and Cloudera Data Visualization.
  7. Manage Azure VMs, Storage Accounts, Private Subnets, Private Endpoints, Cost Explorer, Quotas, Identities/Roles.
  8. Manage RHEL OS; Salt orchestration knowledge is essential.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in using Big Data platforms like Cloudera Data Platform - 1 year
  2. Experience with Azure Infrastructure and Services - 1 year
  3. Experience with Big Data and Business Intelligence - 1 year
  4. Experience with CDP Public Cloud upgrade, patching, and system maintenance - 1 year
  5. Experience with Data Warehouse and Reporting Tools - 1 year
  6. Experience with Kubernetes Cluster and Linux OS - 1 year
