Transformative Claims Role
AIG is seeking a highly skilled Claims Analyst IV - Property to join our Commercial Property team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional claims handling experiences for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage new and existing Commercial Property claims, including Marine and Energy claims, to ensure timely and fair resolutions.
- Evaluate coverage, reserves, and perform detailed claim investigations to document files accurately.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, brokers, underwriting, and business partners through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adhere to established corporate best practices, claim handling guidelines, and strict compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Make informed decisions and work independently within assigned authority, contributing to the team's success.
- Collaborate with legal counsel on claims requiring litigation, adhere to litigation guidelines, and attend mediations as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience examining Property claims, with a strong understanding of claim handling processes and procedures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated focus on customer satisfaction, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively.
- Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Fluency in French is considered an asset.
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 5%).
