Claims Analyst IV

As a Claims Analyst IV – Commercial Property at AIG, you will play a key role in delivering technical excellence and showcasing our service differentiation to create an unparalleled global claims handling experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new and existing Commercial Property claims, including Marine and Energy claims.
  • Evaluate coverage, reserves, perform detailed claim investigations, and document the file appropriately.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, brokers, underwriting and all business partners.
  • Handle claims in accordance with established corporate best practices, claim handling guidelines, and strict adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Make decisions and work independently within assigned authority and contribute effectively to the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience examining Property claims.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated focus and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills; the ability to manage and prioritize workload and diary management.
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills and the ability to work independently on matters within granted authority.
