Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 2531637 Ontario Inc. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Operate dishwashers, wash and sanitize dishes, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Restock supplies, including condiments, linens, and cleaning products.
  • Assist with food preparation, including portioning, wrapping, and packaging.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and serving customers.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks.
Requirements:
  • 1-6 months of experience in a food service or kitchen environment.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability, dependability, and a positive attitude.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Physically demanding, with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.
  • Overtime required, with a 35-hour workweek.
