Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Service Technician to join our team at ATS Automation. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers, ensuring their automation equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex automation equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry developments to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
  • Work closely with the service team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of service activities.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support to customers.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or automation technology.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation service and maintenance, with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites as required.
