Job Summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a skilled and compassionate Program Services Caseworker to join our team in preventing youth homelessness. As a key member of our residential facility team, you will provide critical support to clients and contribute to the day-to-day operations of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain an active caseload and provide case management services to clients.
  • Complete intake and assessments, creating service plans and providing clinical interventions for assigned clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and services to support clients.
  • Record activities and incidents occurring during shifts in a factual and concise manner.
  • Ensure confidentiality and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including reporting and data entry.
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Valid Ontario Class "G" Driver's License and a current copy of a Driver's abstract.
  • Experience working with homelessness, mental health, and vulnerable populations.
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • This is a permanent full-time position.
  • Shift schedules may vary.
  • Minimal travel required.
