Job Summary

The Physiotherapist is a key member of the interdisciplinary team at The EMP, responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients and families. This role involves coordinating and providing care within the scope of practice, promoting functional performance, and maintaining or restoring physical abilities.

Required Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification;
  • Registration and membership in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of New Brunswick and eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association;
  • Knowledge of the target population and available community services;
  • Valid New Brunswick Class 5 Driver's License and good driving record;
  • Current CPR Level C certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months;
  • Ability to work efficiently as a team member, demonstrate leadership and coaching skills, and possess strong interpersonal skills;
  • Flexibility to work all shifts as assigned and maintain a good attendance record;
  • High regard for confidentiality and excellent work habits;
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Note: For positions in the St. Stephen EMP unit, a valid Canadian passport or Nexus card is required.
