Champlain College Saint-Lambert is seeking the services of an ADMINISTRATION TECHNICIAN, to work on a regular full-time position in the Human Resources department.
FUNCTIONS
Reporting to the Coordinator of Labour Relations and Human Resources, the incumbent will be responsible for various technical tasks of an administrative nature. He/she will assist personnel requiring HR services.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Provide administrative support with the technical and administrative aspects of recruitment (CVManager);
2. Conduct new hire orientation and communicate all required information to other departments;
4. Carry out duties related to payroll, group insurance, vacation planners, Bill 90 and ensure communication in a timely manner with the Payroll/Benefits Technicians at College Administration;
5. Assist with the analysis, preparation and follow-up of information and data with respect to HR dossiers such as declaring all labor movements to the "Bureau de Placement";
6. Assist with the development and preparation of technical documents (union reports, vacation status reports, etc.);
7. Prepare and send confirmation letters to employees such as leaves and tenure;
9. Ensure technical support and participate in personnel training on the use of systems such as the HR and Payroll software Clara RH-PAIE and the College career site;
10. Assist the Human Resources Manager and Coordinator in the organization of activities related to training, recognition, and other HR initiatives;
11. Provide personal support to employees.
**Requirements**:
Education
Must possess a diploma of college studies (DEC) in Administration with an appropriate specialty or a diploma or an attestation of studies which is recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.

1. Fluently bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken;
2. Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word and Excel).

5. Able to work within a team environment as well as to operate independently.
Assets
1. Experience working in Human Resources;
2. Familiar with collective agreements and unionized environments.
**Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
**Salary Scale**: 26.36$ - 35.22$
