Job Description

As a Regional Video Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing relationships with Avigilon Partners, educating them on Avigilon solutions, and understanding how these solutions can help them sell more and provide value to their customers. You will also track and report on account activity, assist Avigilon Channel Partners with order and return processing, and work with them to ensure their staff have the necessary training to deploy Avigilon's solutions successfully.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop relationships with Avigilon Partners and educate them on Avigilon solutions.
  2. Understand and articulate how Avigilon solutions help Partners sell more and provide value to their customers.
  3. Track and report on account activity.
  4. Assist Avigilon Channel Partners with order and return processing.
  5. Work with Avigilon Channel Partners to ensure their staff have the necessary training to deploy Avigilon's solutions successfully.
  6. Support Motorola's video sales and access control activities in the assigned territory by creating, nurturing, and responding to sales opportunities for products and services.
  7. Find and develop new markets and determine the net need with end-users through channel partners and engage Commercial Sales Executives to close opportunities.
  8. Support territory leaders in establishing quarterly and annual sales objectives for assigned Avigilon Channel Partners in the territory.
  9. Track sales activities using lead and project tracking software databases.
  10. Collaborate with colleagues, including Commercial Sales Executives, Business Development Managers, Inside Sales, and Sales Engineering.
Additional Skills:
  1. 3+ years of video security and access control solutions sales experience.
  2. 3+ years of customer interfacing experience.
  3. Physical security solutions experience.
  4. Strong technical acumen and ability to speak towards our products and solutions.
  5. Ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  6. Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships.
  7. A strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy is required.
  8. Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  9. Time management skills are required, and candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  10. Functional understanding of Microsoft and Google Apps, especially Excel/Sheets.
  11. Exceptional presentation skills required.
  12. Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and demonstrate new software at a high level.
  13. Ability to travel weekly within the territory.
  14. Having an established client base in the assigned territory is a plus.
  15. Bilingual French/English - Must be able to work also in English with our English-speaking clients, customers, and partners outside Quebec as well as with the rest of the colleagues in Canada, the United States, and in other international countries as applicable.
Location & Travel Requirements:

Preference for candidates based in the National Capital Region (Ottawa). Travel will be 50-75% of the time, within the territory, with limited air travel anticipated.
