Information Systems Business Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Business Solutions Specialist to join our team at Queen's University. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements
- Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions
- Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery
- Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware
- Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems
- Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality
- Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests
- Recommend new security measures
- 5 years or more of experience in a related field
- Strong understanding of information systems business solutions and technical requirements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
