Information Systems Business Solutions Specialist

At Queen's University, we are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Business Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, and will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with our team to assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, and to conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for providing advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery. You will work with our team to develop and implement new security measures, and to ensure that our products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions
- Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware

- Develop and implement new security measures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
- 5 years or more of experience in information systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions:
- 35 hours per week
