Information Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Specialist to join our team at Queen\u0027s University. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.
- Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
- Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
- Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware.
- Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems.
- Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality.
- Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.
- Recommend new security measures.
- Bachelor\u0027s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5 years or more of experience in information systems development and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of computer science, computer engineering, and computer technology/computer systems technology.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
