Information Systems Business Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Business Solutions Specialist to join our team at Queen's University.
Key Responsibilities- Document Technical Requirements: Ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements by documenting technical requirements.
- Design and Develop Business Solutions: Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
- Provide Strategic Advice: Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery to support business objectives.
- Assess Security Risks: Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware to ensure the security of our systems.
- Conduct Quality Assurance Reviews: Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems to ensure they meet our standards.
- Operate Testing Equipment: Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality and identify areas for improvement.
- Document Test Results: Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests to ensure our systems meet our standards.
- Recommend Security Measures: Recommend new security measures to protect our systems and data from potential threats.
