Position Overview

As a Retail Operations Supervisor at RABBA FINE FOODS, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations within our retail environment. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 32 to 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and manage a team of sales associates, apprentices, and support staff.
  • Task Assignment: Allocate duties to sales personnel to ensure efficient operations.
  • Recruitment and Training: Participate in the hiring process and facilitate training for new employees.
  • Financial Transactions: Authorize payments and manage cash handling procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee merchandise orders and returns, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Scheduling: Create and maintain work schedules for staff.
  • Sales Performance: Monitor sales metrics and prepare reports on performance and staffing.
  • Issue Resolution: Address customer inquiries, complaints, and supply chain challenges.
  • Inventory Organization: Maintain a well-organized inventory system.
  • Payroll Oversight: Manage payroll processes and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Volunteer Coordination: Supervise office and volunteer staff activities.
Work Environment

This role is set in a fast-paced retail environment where you will be expected to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines. The position requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, along with the ability to manage heavy loads.
