Position Overview

The Logistics Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily activities of delivery personnel within the organization. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements to operational methods.
  • Oversee and manage team members and project workflows.
  • Facilitate training sessions or coordinate training for staff.
  • Plan and organize work schedules and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Manage repair and rental coordination.
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
Supervisory Duties

Direct supervision of delivery drivers is required.

Technical Proficiency
  • Familiarity with MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word is essential.
Industry Experience

Experience in the trucking industry is preferred.

Safety and Security

Candidate must be bondable.

Work Environment

Ability to work effectively under pressure is necessary.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is required.

Employment Type
