Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Whistler 99 Courier and Freightways Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery process, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Delivery Drivers: Lead and manage a team of delivery drivers to ensure they are meeting performance standards and adhering to company policies.
  • Coordinate Activities: Plan and coordinate the delivery process, including scheduling, routing, and logistics.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of delivery drivers.
  • Ensure Health and Safety: Implement and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Requisition Materials: Order and manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 32 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be a team player with flexibility and organizational skills.
