Job Summary

The BC Public Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse 9 Program Coordinator to join our team at the Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide on-site and community-based assessment, treatment, and follow-up services to children and youth with severe and enduring mental health and/or behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and follow-up services to children and youth with severe and enduring mental health and/or behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Lead and supervise a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current licensure to practice in British Columbia.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in mental health or substance use services.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading and supervising a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid class 5 BC Driver's license with no restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-graduate development courses related to adolescent mental health or conduct problems.
  • Experience working in a mental health setting.
  • Leadership and supervisory training.
  • First Nations, Métis, or Inuit ancestry.
