About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at BK AUTO BODY COLLISION INC. as a Fabrication and Repair Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, including brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Inspect and Ensure Quality: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Perform Fabrication and Repair: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal, and determine weldability of materials.
  • Maintain Equipment and Work Environment: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment, and ensure a safe and organized work environment.
  • Meet Work Requirements: Work a permanent schedule, with 35 to 40 hours per week, and communicate effectively in English.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
