About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication and Repair Specialist to join our team at Covertech Industries Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and Fabrication: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Material Handling: Determine weldability of materials, operate hoisting and lifting equipment, and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Quality Control: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure high-quality products.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other production team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
