About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Claremont Educational Services, Inc. as a key member of our facilities management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our educational facilities.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize costs.
  • Facilities Management: Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities, including painting, repairs, and renovations.
  • Team Leadership: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, other departments, and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work Scheduling: Develop and implement work schedules to ensure efficient use of staff and resources.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work at heights, in wet/damp conditions, and in dusty environments.
  • Work Setting: Experience working in a school or educational institution setting.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable and willing to undergo a criminal record check.
