Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Remarcable Inc. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based platform, providing technical support to customers, and collaborating with our Customer Support and Supplier Integrations teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in integrating Remarcable with various contractors and suppliers in the distribution industry to ensure the smooth flow of data.
  • Set up and troubleshoot EDI/API integrations, ensuring seamless communication between systems.
  • Interact and coordinate with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Gain an understanding of common distribution ERP and accounting systems to assist in client integrations and support.
  • Update and improve integrations with existing trading partners, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Monitor daily electronic information exchange and alert the team of any issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Create/edit technical documentation for the use of clients, providing clear and concise instructions.
Requirements:
  • Experience with electronic integrations between different software and database systems - EDI, API, Punchout, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly, with a strong desire to broaden your horizons in the technology industry.
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferably a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related IT degree, with experience in the construction or distribution industries being an asset.
  • An inherent curiosity with the desire to dig deep to solve complex problems, with a client service mentality and a willingness to collaborate openly with other people.
