Lead Security Disaster Recovery Specialist

At OpenText, we're seeking a highly skilled Lead Security Disaster Recovery Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Disaster Recovery Program, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of our corporate and commercial systems, platforms, and applications.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement disaster recovery assurance programs to meet business objectives.
- Lead disaster recovery test exercises and assess recoverability, identifying critical risks and developing remediation plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve disaster recovery capabilities.
- Conduct disaster recovery operational reviews with internal stakeholders and guide recovery strategy development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in disaster recovery and business continuity.
What We're Looking For:
- 8+ years of experience in disaster recovery, business continuity, or security.
- Degree or diploma in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of hyperscalers, DevOps, virtualization, and distributed systems; experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven leadership in navigating complex, stressful projects, strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, ValueEdge, and Excel, with experience in project coordination in cross-functional environments.
- Certifications in disaster recovery, business continuity, IT, cyber security, or project management.
