Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Security Disaster Recovery Analyst to join our team at OpenText Corporation. In this role, you will play a key part in the development and maturity of our Disaster Recovery Assurance Program, ensuring the recoverability of our corporate and commercial systems, platforms, and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess recovery assurance requirements for Cloud service platforms and scope validation requirements for commercial and corporate systems and solutions.
  • Define and scope DR Assurance Program initiatives to meet business objectives.
  • Assign, monitor, and plan tasks for team members related to DR efforts.
  • Build and prioritize DR initiatives using risk assessments and business impact analysis.
  • Lead DR test exercises and assess recoverability, identifying critical risks and developing remediation plans.
  • Conduct DR operational reviews with internal stakeholders and guide recovery strategy development.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve disaster recovery capabilities.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or Security.
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science or IT.
  • Strong knowledge of hyperscalers, DevOps, virtualization, and distributed systems; experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proven leadership in navigating complex, stressful projects, strong decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, ValueEdge, and Excel, with experience in project coordination in cross-functional environments.
  • Certifications in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, IT, Cyber Security, or Project Management.
