Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality products and exceptional customer service
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing efficiency
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize overtime
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a food service or hospitality environment
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
