Job Opportunity

OCAD University is seeking a qualified individual to fill a teaching position in the Faculty of Arts & Science. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and teaching-related responsibilities in the area of digital media and cinema studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver course outlines, studio preparation, and lectures
  • Grade assignments, conduct mid-term evaluations, and final evaluations/reviews
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are met and academic and curricular requirements are fulfilled
Qualifications
  • Terminal degree in art, design, or relevant discipline, or equivalent professional/practical experience
  • Experience teaching at the post-secondary level is an asset
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and experience promoting a respectful and inclusive work and learning environment
Terms of Employment

Sessional appointments are fixed-term annual contracts. Compensation includes a per-course pay scale with salary level of $6,871.00 (per 0.5 credit course) plus 7% in lieu of benefits and vacation pay, per the provisions of the Employment Standards Act.
