Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and kitchen helpers, to ensure efficient service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, maintain accurate records of stock and sales, and ensure that all necessary equipment is in good working order.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to improve their skills and knowledge, and support their career development.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and customer feedback.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
