About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Services Representative to join our team at Meridian. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our Members, promoting our products and services, and building strong relationships with our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Experience
    • Provide personalized service to Members, identifying and promoting products and services that meet their financial needs
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Members, understanding their financial goals and objectives
    • Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive Member information
  • Employee Experience
    • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve Retail Experience goals, building a positive and inclusive team environment
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues, promoting open and transparent communication
    • Participate in ongoing learning and development, aligning with Meridian values and delivering on Employee Engagement results
  • Community Experience
    • Promote Meridian in the community, participating in local events and activities that align with our values
    • Support local community organizations and initiatives, demonstrating our commitment to giving back
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, with cash handling experience an asset
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with relevant working experience
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and Saturdays
  • Strong understanding of computer systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Effective organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
