As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of human resources programs and processes, including performance management, compensation, and labor relations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with employees and managers to ensure a value-added human resources contribution to meet strategic and operational objectives.
- Design, develop, and implement strategic and tactical solutions to support business objectives.
- Coach and support managers in labor relations, workforce planning, recruitment, compensation, organizational development, performance management, and change management.
- Apply and interpret collective agreements and labor laws, participate in grievance and conflict resolution, and improve organizational climate.
- Manage and perform daily HR transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or industrial relations.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in HR in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Strong labor relations foundation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in two official languages.
- Ability to influence management and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- High level of customer focus and autonomy.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
