Financial Services Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Financial Advisor Associate to join our team at Servus Credit Union. As a key member of our branch, you will play a vital role in supporting our members with all their banking needs.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare documents for member meetings and provide proactive contact and follow-up with members.
- Handle discussions with walk-in members and perform a variety of administrative and branch support activities.
- Process daily banking transactions and recommend products and services to ensure our members feel good about their money.
- Proactively gather and document all pertinent information required for the Financial Advisor to have a robust conversation.
- Review personal accounts for completeness, accuracy, and ensure they are fully compliant.
- Open and review new accounts, following up with members as per member service guidelines.
- Prepare and enter loan application information.
- Support branch activities to grow new memberships and strengthen our financial relationship with existing members.
- Clearly and skillfully differentiate between credit union and competitor products and services.
To qualify, you will need at least 1 year of retail banking or sales experience in addition to your high school diploma.
Although not required, post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies) and IFIC certification are valuable assets.
