About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Professional to join our team at Demand For HR. As an Insurance Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and insurance solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer insurance needs and provide tailored insurance solutions
  • Quote and sell personal insurance policies, including home and auto
  • Assist new customers with their insurance needs and provide ongoing support
  • Service existing customers by updating their policies to meet their changing needs and providing new products as required
  • Drive strong customer retention by delivering a world-class customer experience
  • Underwrite new business, policy endorsements, and renewals by obtaining necessary information from customers
  • Stay up-to-date on underwriting and regulatory guidelines

Requirements:

  • College diploma or university degree
  • Sales and customer service experience (mandatory)
  • OTL or RIBO licensed (required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-focused and able to match products to customer needs
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize work
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software applications
  • Insurance sales/service underwriting experience (an asset)
  • Actively working towards CIP or FCIP designation (an asset)
